About This Product

■Energy as a solution to global warming issues

It is a fuel made by drying sawdust processed from logs, etc., and then applying pressure to solidify it into a cylindrical shape. The specific gravity is about three times that of chips, making it a fuel with excellent combustibility and transportability. Wood pellets are a type of biomass energy, and are solid fuel made by applying pressure to crushed materials such as sawdust, wood shavings, and lumber waste, and solidifying them into a cylindrical shape with a diameter of about 6 mm to improve handling and transportability. *Biomass: Renewable organic resources derived from living organisms, excluding fossil resources.

■Fuel that does not emit harmful substances

The only carbon dioxide emitted when wood pellets are burned is the carbon dioxide absorbed by the wood that is the raw material as it grows. Unlike fossil fuels, it does not increase carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, and is useful as a countermeasure against global warming. Small and lightweight, making it easy to carry

■Excellent fuel efficiency and high convenience

Compared to other biomass fuels, it has a constant shape and moisture content, so it can be used in power generation boilers and household stoves, making it much easier to use.

■Easy to store for long periods of time

Because it is dried, there is less worry about mold growing and it can be stored for a long time.

■ Also useful for camping and outdoor activities

It is characterized by quick ignition and very little fuel ash. It has a high calorific value, so it provides comfortable warmth with a small amount of heat.

■One of the largest manufacturing factories in Japan

The wood pellets produced by our company are made from cedar grown in the forests of Fukushima Prefecture, and can be used even with bent or damaged wood that is difficult to use as wood, so it is expected to promote forest maintenance and revitalize the forestry industry in Iwaki City. Cedar logs are processed into cutting chips at our factory, which are further finely chopped into saw-shapes, dried and shaped by applying pressure to produce cylindrical pellets with a diameter of 6mm. Currently, we are producing about 1,200 to 1,500 tons/month, and we plan to increase this to about 2,000 tons depending on demand.
