About This Product

■Summary

This product is a highly stable broadband light source that uses a unique pulse seeder specialized for supercontinuum (SC) generation. It has a flat spectrum shape not found in conventional SC light sources and high stability comparable to ASE light sources. It can be used in a wide range of applications, including inspection light sources for optical components and broadband light sources for physical and chemical applications.

■Features

- Optical components that span wavelength bands can be evaluated using a single light source. ・Rather than using it as an ultra-wideband light source, by cutting out and using a part of the band, it is possible to create a broadband light source with any wavelength range and bandwidth. ・It has extremely good spectral flatness and spectral stability compared to conventional supercontinuum light sources (SC light sources). ・It is effective when used in combination with an optical spectrum analyzer to measure transmittance and reflectance. ・It has a high spectral density and provides a high dynamic range when evaluating the roll characteristics (cutoff characteristics) of bandpass filters. ・Connector connection is possible with single mode fiber output. ・Connection to fiber type devices and components is easy and normal optical connectors can be used. - Spatial light output can be obtained by using a fiber collimator. The output from a single mode fiber provides a very high quality beam.
