About This Product

■Synthetic resin overview

TOKUSHIKI also possesses synthesis technology. It is also used as a raw material for various coating agents. It is possible to synthesize various types with urethane, acrylic, and urethane acrylate.

■Synthetic resin features

The SQ series, which incorporates ladder silicone into the acrylic resin framework, has excellent magic wiping properties. Rather than conventional coating agents that use silicone-based leveling agents and additives, the SQ series incorporates polysiloxane/silsesquioxane with a ladder-shaped structure into the acrylic molecular skeleton that is the main resin (the silicone part and the acrylic main chain are chemically bonded), resulting in a sustained surface liquid repellency and high gloss. Urethane acrylate can be used as a resin to add elongation and flexibility to coating agents. We have grades that can be used for heat curing and UV (ultraviolet) curing. In particular, UV (ultraviolet) curable resins are compatible with solvent-free and high-solid paints, and have shorter curing times than thermosetting or two-component curing systems, requiring less energy for drying and curing, and are attracting attention as low-pollution and energy-saving resins. UV (ultraviolet) curable resins include urethane acrylate, epoxy acrylate, and polyester acrylate, but our company mainly develops products using urethane acrylate.

■UV-curable antistatic acrylic resin (development product)

・TOKUSHIKI has developed a UV-curable acrylic resin that has good transparency, antistatic function, and anti-pollution function. ・We have added antistatic performance (109 to 1010Ω/□ standard) while maintaining the antifouling properties of SQ250. ・It also has sufficient transparency with little decrease in transmittance and low haze. ・By using our compounding technology to disperse resin that has an antistatic function as its backbone, deterioration of antistatic performance is less likely to occur.
