About This Product

■Overview of fine particle dispersion

Powder particles such as pigments and fillers are usually agglomerated primary particles. As an initial step in the process of dispersing these aggregated particles, the surface of the particles is first wetted with a resin solution. Next, particles are refined using mechanical shearing force. The fine particles have a tendency to aggregate again, but by adding appropriate additives to suppress this, a stabilized solution can be created.

■Features of fine particle dispersion

TOKUSHIKI's ultrafine particle technology achieves high color purity, high density, high transmittance, and high contrast, and is used in liquid crystal displays such as computers, TVs, and car navigation systems. A reflective sheet made of a combination of acrylic resin and glass beads. The colored part of the print uses ultra-transparent ink obtained through ultra-fine pigment technology, achieving vivid colors and excellent reflectivity. Wet dispersion is possible from a few μm to 0.1 μm depending on the application, request, and material. Excellent stability over time in fine particle state.

■High concentration carbon dispersion liquid

The pigment concentration of our general carbon dispersion is around 15% to 20%, but our high-concentration carbon dispersion has a pigment concentration of 40%. Of course, it is uniformly atomized and has good stability over time. The advantage of high concentration is that even if the coating film is thin, it can ensure high light-shielding properties, hiding properties, and jet blackness. Another point is that there is a large design margin on the paint side. One of its features is that it is compatible with a wide range of resin solutions such as urethane, acrylic, and polyester, as well as various solvents.
