■Functional coating agent overviewFunctional coating agents generally refer to paints that add functionality to the object being coated. The main functions include optical functions, electrical/electronic functions, mechanical/chemical functions, and environmental functions. Optical functions include anti-reflection and anti-glare properties, electrical and electronic functions include antistatic properties, conductivity, and electromagnetic shielding properties; mechanical and chemical functions include elasticity, water repellency, antifouling properties, and antibacterial properties; and environmental functions include photocatalytic functions.

■UV-curable high-shielding black coating agent (development product)・Because it is a UV curing coating agent, forming the coating film is easy and fast (drying at 80℃ x 3 minutes, UV curing in a few seconds)
・Like regular coating agents, hard coat + α characteristics can be imparted by mixing additives, etc.
・Can be cured with common initiators + Uses a relatively general-purpose resin
・Thin film (~10 μm) and high shielding possible (even with a film thickness of 6 μm, usage costs can be reduced by approximately 0.3 kg per 1 m2)
・Because it has excellent electrical insulation properties, it can be expected to be able to handle precise patterns and shapes of circuit boards and electronic components.
