About This Product

A carbon tripod specially developed for astrophotography. By adopting a 4-tier structure, it is extremely compact with a reduced length of approximately 325 mm. It can also be carried on board an airplane, making it ideal for overseas expeditions such as observing solar eclipses.

Adapters for Sky-Watcher's EQ3, EQ5, EQM35 and standard U1/4-3/8 screw adapters are included. This tripod can be used for both astronomical telescopes and general cameras.

■11 layer carbon with 40/36/32/28mm diameterAdopts 11 layer carbon pipe with 40/36/32/28mm diameter. It is lightweight yet strong, allowing for stable shooting.

■Can be carried on board the aircraftAchieved miniaturization by adopting a 4-tier structure. The shortened length is only about 325mm. The size fits within the carry-on restrictions of major airlines, so by carrying it on board as hand luggage, you can prevent accidents such as damage to the carbon fiber caused by checking it into the cargo hold. Ideal for overseas expeditions such as observing solar eclipses.

■Large leg angle for excellent stabilityThe opening angle of each tripod leg can be changed to three levels with a single touch. In consideration of stability when an equatorial mount and telescope are installed, the leg opening angle is larger than that of regular photography tripods even during normal use. The total height when the legs are fully opened is approximately 112mm (when the camera head adapter and stainless steel head are attached), so it can also be used for low-angle photography such as macro photography.

■ Compatible with various mounts by replacing adaptersBy replacing the adapter on the top of the tripod, it can also be used with general camera heads and equatorial mounts made by other companies. The included adapter is compatible with Sky-Watcher's EQ5, EQ3, and EQM35, as well as Vixen's old SP, GP, and GPD series. An adapter compatible with general U1/4-3/8 screws is also included, so it can be used not only as an equatorial mount, but also as a tripod for general photography.

■Stone tips that can be selected to suit your shooting styleAdopts a replaceable stone head. Stainless steel head and rubber foot are included as standard. It can be replaced depending on the purpose of use.

■Useful accessoriesEquipped with a spirit level to help ensure accurate installation of equipment. It also comes with a special soft case that is convenient to carry. In addition to being easy to carry, it protects your tripod from damage caused by external factors when you go on an expedition.
