About This Product

A carbon tripod specially developed for astrophotography. Adopts a two-stage structure with 40/36mm diameter carbon pipes. Additionally, the leg opening angle is larger than that of a regular photographic tripod, providing excellent stability. The shortened length is approximately 55cm, so it can be carried on board an airplane. Perfect for everyday viewing and photography, as well as for overseas expeditions. The included equatorial mount adapter is compatible with Sky-Watcher EQ3, EQ5, EQM35 and Vixen's old SP, GP, and GPD series. It also comes with a standard U1/4 screw adapter, so it can be used not only as an equatorial mount, but also as a tripod for general photography. Product features

■11 layer carbon with 40/36mm diameter

Adopts 11 layer carbon pipe with 40/36mm diameter. It is lightweight yet allows for stable shooting.

■Can be carried on board the aircraft

The shortened length is approximately 55cm, which fits within the carry-on restrictions of major airlines. By carrying it on board as carry-on baggage, you can prevent accidents such as damage to the carbon caused by checking it into the cargo hold.

■Large leg angle for excellent stability

The opening angle of each tripod leg can be changed to three levels with a single touch. In consideration of stability when an equatorial mount and telescope are installed, the leg opening angle is larger than that of regular photography tripods even during normal use. The total height when the legs are fully opened is approximately 15cm (including the camera adapter), so it can also be used for low-angle photography such as macro photography.

■ Compatible with various mounts by replacing adapters

By replacing the adapter on the top of the tripod, it can also be used with general camera heads and equatorial mounts made by other companies. The included adapter is compatible with SkyWatcher's EQ5, EQ3, EQM35, and Vixen's old SP, GP, and GPD series.

■Replaceable stone butt

A stainless steel butt for astrophotography and a rubber butt for general photography are included as standard. It can be replaced depending on the purpose of use.

■Soft case that is convenient to carry

Comes with a special soft case that is convenient to carry. You can easily carry it when you go on an expedition.
