About This Product

The Sightron Dual BP Filter (dual bandpass filter) allows the nebula to stand out even in light-polluted areas by mainly transmitting wavelengths around the two main emission lines (Hα, OIII) emitted by celestial bodies and cutting out other wavelengths. Ideal for photographing nebulae in urban areas using a digital SLR camera or mirrorless camera. Product features

■2 bright line transmission type

By mainly transmitting wavelengths near the two main emission lines (Hα, OIII) emitted by celestial bodies, and cutting out other wavelengths, comets and nebulae can be seen even in light-polluted areas. In particular, for OIII, the 495.6nm and 500.7nm emission lines are transmitted to improve the visibility of OIII.

■Reliable domestic quality, synthetic quartz glass used

The base is made of synthetic quartz glass. It is stronger and has better heat resistance than commonly used optical glass, so distortion during coating is smaller than usual, and it has excellent deposition stability and surface precision.

■Highly versatile 48mm/American size diameter

The highly versatile filter thread diameter is 48mm and American size, so it can be used with many telescopes.
