Until now, ultra-wide-angle binoculars had a short eye relief (distance between the eyes and the lens), making it difficult to see through compared to non-wide-angle binoculars. ■Comfortable ultra-wide-angle field of view with high eye point

Conventional ultra-wide-angle binoculars*1 have short eye relief*2, making them difficult to see through, especially for those who wear glasses. By shortening the optical distance between the eyepiece and prism, the SW10×25WP succeeded in creating a long eye relief of 17.3mm while maintaining an ultra-wide angle of 75°. *1 Apparent field of view is the width of the field of view when looking through binoculars expressed in angles (numerical values). A wide angle is defined as 65° or more, and a super wide angle is defined as 75° or more (according to the old JIS standard: B7121:1993). *2 The distance from the eyepiece surface to the eye is called "eye relief." A point of 15 mm or more is called a high eye point, and the field of view of the binoculars is easy to see even when you take your eyes off the lens. The extremely wide field of view allows you to see not only your target but also its surroundings at the same time. It is especially effective not only at concerts, but also at operas and musicals.

■Bright and clear visibility with Perfect Fully Multi-Coat (PFM)

The SW10×25WP has a Perfect Fully Multi-Coat (PFM) specification in which three or more layers of special anti-reflection coating (multi-coat) are applied to the entire optical surface of the objective lens, eyepiece lens, and prism. By thoroughly eliminating light reflection on the lens surface, contrast reduction and light loss are suppressed, resulting in extremely bright and clear vision.
