About This Product

■What is a scroll pump?

This is a dry pump that does not use oil. By rotating two alternating spiral blades, the gas is compressed and a vacuum is created. By using it in combination with a turbo molecular pump, etc., it is possible to create a completely oil-free clean vacuum state.

■Features of Pfeiffer Vacuum's HiScroll® series scroll pump

The HiScroll® series is characterized by its high performance among scroll pumps when pumping to atmosphere. Synchronous motors with powerful IPM sensorless INFORM® control achieve up to 15% higher efficiency compared to conventional drives. The pump also features a very compact design and very quiet, low-vibration operation. This makes it ideal for use in quiet work environments such as mass spectrometers, research and development laboratories, and leak detection systems. Product Description
