About This Product

■Features- By using a high performance, large common mode choke, it exhibits high attenuation ability against broadband noise (electromagnetic pulse, burst noise, etc.). It is especially effective against common mode noise, which could not be suppressed with inexpensive filtered outlets.
・Ordinary surge protectors have no effect on common mode lightning surges applied to the ground and power lines, but SFU provides reliable and effective protection against lightning surges.
- Compatible with large current outlet shapes used in large equipment and factory equipment, so installation is easy.

■Surge countermeasuresAs a surge countermeasure, we use a circuit that combines a surge absorber as the primary protection and a noise filter as the second protection. Surge absorbers have a discharge start voltage of 500 to 800V, so they can absorb surge voltages, and as a secondary protection, a noise filter prevents sudden surges from flowing out.

■Pilot lamp display- Lights up when the surge protection circuit is operating normally when the power is turned on. If a surge that exceeds the allowable amount flows in and the internal fuse blows, the light will go out, so replace it with a new product.
・If the main unit does not generate heat or smoke even when the light is off, you can continue to use it as a noise filter, but it will not provide protection against surges.

■Overcurrent protection- If a device with a current exceeding the rated current is used, or if a current exceeding the rated current flows due to equipment failure, the breaker will trip and the current will be cut off.
・The breaker can be reset by pressing the reset switch, but before resetting the breaker, carefully check the cause and remove the abnormality before pressing the switch.
- Do not use the product with the breaker switch forcibly pressed. Failure to do so may cause fire or malfunction.
