DITAworks is a system for building a manual creation environment using DITA (Darwin Information Typing Architecture). This XML-based document management system is called CCMS (Component Content Management System). DITAworks is purpose-built for processes using DITA, from editing to localization to producing the final product.

DITAworks is a DITA CMS (content management system) that spans from the workgroup level to the enterprise level. Edit, manage, and publish DITA content. Designed for organizing and managing documents with structured content, complex documents, and integrated content reuse flows. Common application areas include technical documentation such as product manuals, online help, product documentation, support web pages, e-learning content, and documentation for the financial, healthcare, and pharmaceutical industries.
