The Geochemist’s Workbench (GWB) is a geochemical reaction simulation package for environmental and geological analysis that is well-regarded as the standard software for geochemical (also known as geochemical) modeling. It is used at over 3,000 research facilities in the resource development and environmental fields around the world. With its ready-to-use user interface, fully integrated graphing capabilities, highly optimized algorithms, and advanced software architecture, GWB enables you to efficiently handle any geochemical research task, large or small. You can also generate phase diagrams and “true” activity diagrams, calculate stable isotope fractionation, set partial pressures, and model isotope transport. Data and modeling analysis results can be output in various image formats. Once you have created your diagram, you can copy and paste it into any document or illustration program. GWB is compatible with widely used software such as MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe Illustrator. GWB is available in three editions and a free Community Edition, allowing you to choose the product that best suits your purpose and level of use.

This is a package equipped with all functions for earth science research. You can create spreadsheets and specialized diagrams, track reaction models, calculate complex phase diagrams, and simulate reactive transport, biological reaction transport, isotope transport, and colloid transport.

■ GWB Standard

The perfect edition for spreadsheets, diagrams, and multicomponent reaction modeling. Plot changes in the distribution of chemical species, model water-rock interactions, and simulate fluid mixing.

■ GWB Essentials

Perform basic tasks in geochemical modeling. Calculate reaction balances and equilibrium constants and create Eh-pH diagrams with just a click of the mouse. Easily calculate differentiation, saturation, gas pressure, and isotope distribution.
