About This Product

ATOMS is software for drawing various types of atomic structures such as crystals, polymers, and molecules. It can be used for a variety of purposes, from full 3D color drawings to simple monochrome diagrams for printing. Possible representations in ATOMS include spheres and sticks, wireframes, interpenetrating atoms (space filling), tunable polyhedra (polyhedra), or a combination of these. Anisotropic thermal ellipsoid mode draws atoms and bonds in ORTEP style. Ellipsoids can be viewed in 3D mode. It is possible to draw using the orthographic projection method or perspective method, and it is also possible to automatically draw in 3D using the stereo pair method. Anaglyphs (three-dimensional display of red and blue two-color superimposition) can also be drawn in wireframe display. Atoms and bonds can be automatically labeled. Atom vectors can be expressed in terms of magnetic spin (Shubnikov symmetry available if needed) and other vector properties. It is also possible to display atomic displacements in vibrational mode (using VIBRATZ for output). Contains a library of 13 basic inorganic crystals in addition to other sample structures. ■3D printing support

You can now output StereoLithograph (.STL) and Wavefront (.OBJ), which are the most common formats for 3D printing.
