About This Product

■Features

The PPR whetstone can be used for a wide range of purposes, from rough polishing to final polishing. It can be used for a variety of polishing purposes that conventional elastic grindstones do not have, and was primarily developed as a grindstone for chamfering threads on carbide chips and ceramic chips. In addition, this PPR grindstone achieves higher polishing efficiency compared to brush polishing and contributes to reducing polishing costs. Furthermore, by changing the particle size and elastic modulus of the abrasive grains, it is possible to respond to various workpiece dimensions and required surface roughness.

■Typical uses

Thread chamfering of carbide tips and ceramic tips

■Precautions for use

・We recommend using a double disc type with two discs in one set. ・Depending on the workpiece dimensions, 30 to 50 workpieces can be set and polished per charge. - Suitable for polishing a wide range of materials including copper, titanium, stainless steel, aluminum, copper alloys, glass, and wood. ・Please use dry method.
