About This Product

■Features

POS whetstones have fine pores and thermal deformability suitable for soft workpieces, which prevents welding (clogging) of metal powder on the whetstone and constantly generates new cutting edges. Therefore, even at high depths of cut, continuous grinding is possible without burning or warping the thin plate. In addition, it can replace the conventional MG whetstone, and has achieved grinding performance that is more than three times that of the VIT whetstone. Furthermore, it does not rust the grinding machine or workpiece, and achieves higher strength, higher efficiency, and longer life than the MG grinding wheel.

■Typical uses

・Axe, hatchet ~ razor ・With female blade, glass thread chamfer ・Knife, scissors, razor, scalpel blade included ・Centerless grinding and cylindrical grinding of SUS pipe materials ・Currently expanding into surface grinding

■Applicable steel material

It is effective in machining various stainless steel materials, aluminum alloys, and other difficult-to-cut ferrous materials.

・Abrasive material: C, GC, WA ・Particle size: #46~#220 ・Hardness: JIS resin OG hardness F~M ・Dimensions: Outer diameter (D) 100~1,065mm, thickness (T) 3~205mm
