About This Product

■Features

99X abrasive grain is a new single-crystal abrasive grain with moderate self-sharpening action, and provides a sharp cutting edge comparable to ceramic abrasive grains that cannot be found in conventional single-crystal abrasive grains. In addition, there is little grinding burn and the sharpness lasts for a long time. Furthermore, the wear of the dresser is less than that of ceramic whetstones, so it can be used under the same grinding conditions as current general whetstones. Whetstone hardness: 99X whetstones can be used even if the whetstone hardness is set half to one step harder than conventional ones in order to show good sharpness. Bond: We have newly developed V4C bond to maximize the self-sharpening effect. Compatible steel material

■It is particularly effective in machining high hardness (HRC50 or higher) steel materials such as SKS, SKH, SKD, and SCM.

・Roll shaft (high speed, semi high speed) ・Automotive parts/Electrical parts (SCM materials) ・Bearing (SUJ-2 material) ・Mold (SKD-11 material) ・Tools (SKH material), etc.

■Typical uses

・Whetstone for general mechanical grinding, tool/mold grinding. -Especially for difficult-to-cut materials that are difficult to polish with regular whetstones.
