This buff is made using bias-cut cotton cloth to form regular pleats and secure the center with metal fittings. As a buff with pleats, it is suitable for medium polishing of non-ferrous metals because the outer surface of the buff is flat and allows for polishing with little sag, and it is difficult to collect chips. 4 ply is standard for M fabric.
