About This Product

■Product overview

"KPC-2003" is a water-soluble rust inhibitor that is effective not only for steel, but also for non-ferrous metals such as copper and copper alloys, zinc, aluminum, lead and lead alloys, and most other metals. "KPC-2003" has excellent water repellency, so it not only protects the material from rust, but also acts as a water drainer after plating, primary rust prevention, and discoloration rust prevention agent.It also maintains its rust prevention effect even after drying, and its rust prevention ability is comparable to that of ordinary light lubricating rust prevention oils. The film formed by the "KPC-2003" treatment is a thin film of less than 0.1 μm and does not cause problems such as stickiness or transfer or adhesion to other objects. In addition, KPC-2003 is effective in simplifying the washing/drying process and improving various problems after washing.

■Applications

Water-soluble drainer/discoloration rust preventive agent. *For preventing discoloration of final finished products such as copper and copper alloys, nickel and chromium plating, electroless plating, etc. - Rust prevention, or for simplifying the draining/dehydration process after plating is completed. *Temporary discoloration prevention and rust prevention agent when painting or buffing after copper/brass plating (before). *As a rust prevention agent (primary stock) during intermediate and storage processes for steel products. *Steel processed products: Rust prevention and temporary rust prevention for various processed products such as polishing, cutting & blasting, pressing/punching, printing, laminated steel plates, etc., as a stock agent, and as a draining agent after cleaning (degreasing, derusting, etc.).

A chromium-free type, discoloration and rust preventive agent for electroless nickel and copper alloys. Water repellent (KPC-0 for draining rust preventive agent).
