About This Product

■Product overview

Dipsol SZ-242 is a tin-zinc alloy plating agent that we were the first in the world to successfully commercialize in 1975. Since then, it has been widely praised for its outstanding performance as a rust-proof plating to prevent salt damage, mainly for important automobile parts. The softness of the plating and its excellent corrosion resistance after secondary processing make it superior to other zinc-based alloy platings. Tin-zinc alloy plating, which has an overwhelmingly strong anti-rust coating, is steadily advancing as the anti-corrosion plating of the 21st century.

■Features

- Trivalent chromium chemical conversion treatment that complies with ELV and RoHS regulations is possible. - Chromate-treated products with a plating thickness of 4 microns have corrosion resistance of over 2,000 hours before red rust appears in a salt spray test. - Excellent secondary processability. ・Excellent solderability. ・The plating solution is neutral and safe, containing no deleterious or toxic substances.
