About This Product

■Move to your destination floor without an assistant in a mid-rise house without an elevator.

As an alternative to installing an elevator, movBot® ACE-Stair can be used for people who have difficulty navigating stairs, are pregnant, or cannot move around with heavy luggage and can move without assistance. This is the world's first wheelchair robot that can move up and down each floor instead of using an elevator.

■Stair climbing function

When you hold your special card over the card reader on each floor, the train will travel automatically and go up and down to the floor you are using. This is a stair-climbing wheelchair that allows you to go up and down the stairs just by getting on and pressing the button for the destination floor. Register staircase information for corresponding stairs, steps, gaps, etc. in advance. For safety when going up and down stairs, the wheels are grounded to the stair treads to prevent slipping.

■ Seat level maintenance function

The seat always maintains a constant riding position even when riding on stairs or steps.

■Automatic driving

Information on stairs and steps in the housing complex is taught to the robot in advance, and the robot runs automatically using that information. An onboard camera detects obstacles and stops or detours.

■Collision prevention

Collision prevention function automatically stops. While driving, the lamps will flash and a sound will be played to notify those around you that you are driving.

■Fall prevention function

The following three systems are used to prevent falls. ・A system that keeps the seat level at all times for safety when driving. ・A system that keeps the center of gravity in the center of the running wheels. ・A system that keeps the four running wheels on the rear left and right in constant contact with the ground at equal pressure.

■Omnidirectional driving function

Since it uses omnidirectional wheels, it can move forward and backward, left and right, diagonally, and turn. Since it can be moved laterally, there is no need to move back and forth like with regular wheelchairs. The omnidirectional running function allows it to run smoothly even on narrow stairs and landings in housing complexes.

■Operation unit

The wheelchair robot only has a destination button. Users simply hold their card over the card reader and press the destination floor button, and the robot will automatically take them to the destination floor.

■Automatic charging function

The robot will automatically recharge when it returns to base.
