About This Product

``Kofuita'' is a vintage architectural wood made from Nagano Prefecture's branded wood ``Azumi no Matsu'' that has not been finished during the manufacturing process. The wood was deliberately exposed to sunlight, wind and rain to weather, and the silver-gray surface was painted in four colors with an antique look. It is characterized by its rugged atmosphere, which is expressed by the fact that it is left uncut, has scratches, and even has marker marks left on it, without any processing to make it a "beautiful product."

■FeaturesAlthough it claims to have an "old wood look" rather than old wood, the weathering on the surface is a natural change. In order to take advantage of the natural weathering, no processing other than painting is done. Marks made with chalk or paint for identification, dark spots on the crosspieces used to stack the timbers, marks left by saws from sawing, and the skin of the logs called nota are still attached. The appearance of wood that is not "pretty" naturally blends in with industrial spaces and handsome interiors.

*Touch-up paint is available for painting the wood end surface after processing.
*This is not a wood protection coating. If you plan to use it outdoors, we recommend that you apply a separate coat of wood protection paint after installation.

・Some of the items are notched.
・As this is an old wood-like product, each piece has a different expression, color, texture, and size.
