About This Product

■Feature Feature

An undercoat that hardens coniferous wood and expands its uses. In recent years, due to the decline in hardwood trees and the effective use of forest resources such as thinned wood, softwoods have also come to be used for furniture. However, coniferous trees are generally soft and easily scratched, making them difficult to use for furniture and tables. For this reason, the common method of painting was to create hardness with a thick coating. Hardwood DX makes it possible to strengthen softwood by applying a thin coating that takes advantage of the texture of the wood. By painting hardwood DX, the damage caused by coniferous trees such as cypress, cedar, and paulownia is surprisingly reduced, making it suitable for general furniture such as counters, flooring, doors, top doors, stairs, tables, desks, and a variety of other uses.

■Strong against dents

Even softwood is resistant to dents and scratches from ballpoint pens. Formulated with special ingredients, it has the same workability as a general two-component urethane paint, but forms a tough coating film with excellent scratch resistance, covering the softness of softwood.

■Make wood durable

You can obtain the same hardness as oak. By painting coniferous trees (cedar, cypress, etc.), which are often used as thinned wood, it becomes hard enough to rival that of oak, a typical hardwood.

■Easy to handle

You can easily create a beautiful, luxurious finish. Since it is a two-component urethane paint, it is easy to handle and apply. An ultra-hard undercoating paint suitable for giving softwood a hard and beautiful finish.
