■Sakura wood chipsThis product makes effective use of cherry blossoms that have been cut down and have nowhere to go. This product cannot be mass-produced in quantity, so if you are purchasing a large quantity, please check stock availability.

■ApplicationsFor dyes/smoking/others

■Sakura dye making/simple manual- Boil a 5 liter bag of Sakura wood chips in 10 liters of water for 5 hours and leave it for about a week.
- Strain through a sieve to remove wood chips, put a cloth in a pot and simmer over low heat for 20 minutes, then leave for 1 hour.
・Remove the cloth from the pot and lightly wash it with water.
- Boil 1 liter of water, add alum to about 10% of the cloth, dissolve and cool, then add ③ and soak for 1 hour.
・Rinse the cloth and dry it to complete.


■Sakura dye creationThis time, I used alum as the mordant, but the color will vary depending on the mordant and cloth used. Please enjoy the finished product as the color will be different each time. It is important to stir well before applying to prevent uneven dyeing.
