About This Product

■Endless silence, bubbling realism.

What is required of a preamplifier above all else is signal purity. Its entire role is to process and control the signal as it is input from the source, give it energy, and send it out. During this time, the music signal is subject to all kinds of deterioration, including noise and distortion, as well as suppression of dynamism and slow rise. For this reason, compared to power amplifiers whose sole purpose is to amplify signals, preamplifiers require more careful construction and delicate consideration. Both 850P and 740P are equipped with two toroidal transformers for all basic power supplies to completely separate LR. In addition to our unique i2DCF (independent inductive DC filtering), which deploys one inductor per IC, we are also equipped with a low voltage regulator M-LoVo to ensure a stable power supply. The signal path is a dual mono fully balanced differential total non-NFB circuit that eliminates capacitors. It is a rigorous design that supports the shortest signal path with a stable power supply and does not allow any deterioration. The 850P has an even more elaborate two-chassis configuration. One side of the casing houses the power supply, digital controller, and software processor, while the other side houses only the audio circuitry, ensuring mechanical separation. We also use M-OCTAVE, a damping system using our own special gel, to minimize the effects of vibration. In addition, MOON's original M-Ray volume control is used to adjust the volume. This is a high-end specification based on a ladder resistor that uses surface mount metal film resistors with an error of 0.1%. Although the 740P is a single box, the power supply system and signal system boards are separate to prevent interference. The volume is M-eVOL2. MOON's original electronic type that can be adjusted in 530 steps.
