About This Product

■What is Metal Wall?

This is a product that uses Metal Surface technology to finish siding boards and plasterboards, which are used as ready-made wall materials for construction. All surfaces are finished with real metal, and the passage of time can be beautifully visualized through the "aging" that can only be achieved with real metal. The biggest feature is overwhelming cost performance. It is also possible to use it on the entire floor of a building. *Metal Surface is a special premium coating technology that Aichi Metal Co., Ltd. uses to metalize the surface and then decorate it.

■About the base material

The base materials for MetalWall are plasterboard and ceramic siding boards that comply with JIS standards. Metal walls, which had previously been built to order using liquid metal, have now become standard products, making it possible to offer them at about half the price of conventional walls.

■About finishing

By creating a real metal film on the surface of plasterboard and siding, it is now possible to create a metal wall without using solid metal plates. The lineup includes red rust and black skin of iron, and patina of copper, and we plan to gradually introduce other special metals that Aichi Metals specializes in, such as tin and brass.

■About construction

MetalWall expands the possibilities of using metal for interiors and exteriors, but the construction is the same as plasterboard and siding boards, so there is no need to worry about construction methods when designing. As a construction method suitable for MetalWall, we recommend the "JG method", which uses a special adhesive to avoid leaving screw marks on the surface.
