About This Product

ALGRID" is an innovative one-touch aluminum sash frame. It does not require the use of screws and boasts high construction functionality. Aichi Metals, a member of our group that originally engaged in the contract manufacturing of steel sashes, developed this product out of doubt that there was no sash frame that was simpler and had a more beautiful finish. It is easy to adjust as it can be purchased in long length and cut and used on site. Silver, black, and white are available as basic colors.

■BackgroundUntil about 15 years ago, or nearly 25 years since our founding, the main project of our group, Aichi Metals, was the contract manufacturing of window frames (sashes). Almost all of the sashes are made of steel, and as someone who also performs construction on site, we have experienced many times that even if the size is completed according to the drawings, the parts that sandwich the glass in the sash (retainer edge) will not fit due to a difference of 1 mm depending on the construction finish.

In short, fine adjustments on site are essential. Is it possible to create a simpler and more beautiful sash that meets these needs? This was an idea I had been thinking about ever since.

■FeatureALGRID has two major features. One is the beauty of its finish. Since it can be installed without using screws, you can achieve a simple and modern finish. Another factor is processing performance. No matter where you cut, you won't have any problems with the finished product, so if you purchase a long length, your ability to handle it on site will be greatly improved.

■Differences between conventional sash frames and “ALGRID”・Window frames are thick and unattractive. → ALGRID has a 12mm mating surface for a clean look.
・You can see the heads of the screws even on custom-made steel products → No screws are used for the rims, so you can be particular about the design.
・The screw holes do not match during installation. → No screws are used for the rim, and it can be processed on site, so it can be used with windows of all sizes.
・Manufacturer's products take a long time from ordering to delivery. → Ultra-short delivery times can be achieved by measuring and cutting on-site.
