About This Product

Plakas is a table made of three triangular parts that make full use of the characteristics of the material, forming a circular top plate that joins hands through the support frame of the legs. The design is simple yet impressive, giving it an elegant appearance. Easy to assemble, the Plakas utilizes repeating parts and a strong frame to ensure stability, while the specially treated iron legs feature cast brass treads for added strength.

■What is “De Castelli”?

De Castelli is a metal furniture manufactured by the Italian company De Castelli. We have been selling De Castelli in Japan as a general agent in Japan since June 2020. Aichi Metal's emphasis on ``the beauty of aging created by metal'' and ``manufacturing that takes advantage of the texture of the materials'' is a ``passion for metals'' that is shared by De Castelli. That's why we take pride and joy in our role in introducing De Castelli to Japanese customers. ■History

De Castelli was founded in Treviso in northern Italy at the end of the 19th century. Originally a blacksmith manufacturer that manufactured agricultural equipment, the fourth generation, Albino Serrato, took over as CEO and, with the help of skilled craftsmen with extensive knowledge of metals, boldly ventured into the unknown territory of manufacturing elegant metal furniture. This challenge has led to De Castelli's current status, which is highly acclaimed around the world. The beauty of De Castelli is a refined art that arouses the curiosity of those who see its furniture for the first time.
