About This Product

The difference in size of the two side tables, which are reminiscent of the magnificent sun, has a meaning, representing the sunrise and sunset, when the sun's rays shine at their most beautiful. When the sun rises high in the sky, it becomes large (SUNRISE) and when it sets, it becomes small (SUNSET). In contrast to the DeLabre-finished iron base, the upper part is hand-finished by craftsmen, giving it an air of elegance. Starting from the bright center, the color gradually fades through oxidation, revealing the original texture of the material. De Castelli is a metal furniture manufactured by the Italian company De Castelli. We have been selling De Castelli in Japan as a general agent in Japan since June 2020. ■History

De Castelli was founded in Treviso in northern Italy at the end of the 19th century. Originally a blacksmith manufacturer that manufactured agricultural equipment, the fourth generation, Albino Serrato, took over as CEO and, with the help of skilled craftsmen with extensive knowledge of metals, boldly ventured into the unknown territory of manufacturing elegant metal furniture. This challenge has led to De Castelli's current status, which is highly acclaimed around the world. The beauty of De Castelli is a refined art that arouses the curiosity of those who see its furniture for the first time.
