About This Product

■Solve the problem of condensation just by placing it

Dry Keeper® is a halogen-free, environmentally friendly moisture-absorbing sheet made of synthetic rubber and super absorbent polymer. It can absorb much more water than silica gel, a common moisture absorbing material. Unlike pellet or powder forms, it is a thin sheet wrapped in non-woven fabric, so it does not take up much space and is very easy to handle.

■Mechanism

Hygroscopicity is determined by ``affinity with water,'' ``osmotic pressure,'' and ``crosslinking density.'' When the water-absorbing polymer in Dry Keeper comes into contact with water, the ionic groups (hydrophilic and easily ionized) draw water into the polymer. This uptake force is osmotic pressure*. The water-absorbing polymer has a three-dimensional network structure, and is stabilized in a gel-like state by the action of rubber elasticity. Also, when there is less water in the surrounding area, osmotic pressure causes the absorbed water to be expelled to the outside. *Osmotic pressure is the force that causes water to move between two liquids of different concentrations separated by a cell membrane, from the one with lower concentration to the one with higher concentration. The moisture absorption and release function provides long-term dehumidification effects.

■Safe even when the temperature drops below zero

Even if the absorbed moisture freezes at sub-zero temperatures, it will not harden.

■Environmentally friendly

This is an eco-friendly product that does not contain any environmentally harmful substances.

■Can also be used in locations with limited installation space

・The back of Dry Keeper® mini has an adhesive surface and can be easily fixed. -Dry Keeper® itself is made of rubber material, so it can be applied to curved surfaces. -Can be attached to resin materials such as ABS, PC, and FRP, as well as metals such as SUS, Al, and steel.

■Installation guidelines

The recommended number of DryKeeper®mini sheets to be installed per 1L (1,000cm3) of space is 2 DryKeeper®mini sheets.
