About This Product

There is a type of overhead ground wire called OPGW (OPtical Ground Wire) that has an optical fiber built into the wire. Due to its structure, OPGW has a limit to the length of one seamless line, and requires connection between ground wires. Since it is desirable to connect OPGWs to each other near the ground level of the steel tower, it is necessary to lower the OPGWs along the tower legs and diagonal members from the highest point of the tower to near the ground. The OPGW cleat is the wire holding metal fitting used when lowering the wire.
