About This Product

Half a century after its release, Shinshirakabe continues to provide the same product. ``It's the same as usual'' is a popular phrase. Our greatest effort is to maintain the quality that has earned our customers' trust. A standard of authentic plaster, proven by history and results. The secret to its high quality is ``salt-baked lime,'' which is made using a traditional technique that is one of the few in the country. The lime, which has been baked by hand and is still baked by hand using a manufacturing method passed down from the Edo period, is ideal for plastering. It can be used not only as a top coat for walls, but also as an intermediate coat by adding sand, and for tile roofing, making it versatile for its original uses.

■Inner wall & outer wall

-Can be used on both interior and exterior walls. ・Since Marukyo's plaster is authentic plaster, it can be used in the traditional manner. Can be used on both interior and exterior walls. *However, plaster is not as durable or waterproof as cement or paint. It is not suitable for areas exposed to direct rain, such as exterior walls or fences without eaves. Mold and moss can grow.

■Roof tiles

・Can be used for tile roofing. Since it is an old-fashioned, authentic plaster, it can be used not only for walls, but also for roof tile work by mixing it with sand. - Plaster Shinshirokabe is a plaster product that can be used for both walls and roofs.

■Nonflammable materials

- Five Marukyo plaster products are certified as non-combustible materials. ・In the past, plaster was treated as a noncombustible material like stone and brick, but only in traditional construction methods. Nowadays, more than 90% of the base materials are made of gypsum board, and our company believes that it is necessary to have a verified certification as a "plaster product coated on a gypsum board", which is "board + base material + plaster". We have once again obtained ministerial certification.

■VOC standard "passed product"

- Passed the Japan Stucco Association's chemical substance emission voluntary certification system. ・This product has passed the inspection by the Japan Plaster Association under strict standards established to prove that it is a much safer and more secure product than F☆☆☆☆. Our company uses certification numbers and certificates from the Japan Stucco Association to certify the safety of volatile organic compounds such as formaldehyde.
