Safety monitoring methods that utilize ICT technology can be implemented efficiently and lead to improved productivity. In January 2018, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare stipulated constant monitoring by a dedicated face monitoring supervisor in the ``Guidelines for Measures to Prevent Occupational Accidents at Faces in Mountain Tunnel Construction''. Hydra-T uses millimeter wave radar technology and state-of-the-art ArcSAR synthetic aperture technology to scan the entire surface of the face by moving the measurement head from side to side every 15 seconds. Detects minute displacements of the face before a rockfall with a high precision of 0.1 mm. Based on preset management standard values ​​(threshold values), a yellow/red light and alarm sound will sound to issue an alarm. IDSGeoradar has applied satellite SAR technology to ground-based GB-SAR, and has also incorporated ArcSAR technology, which makes the instrument portable, into Hydra to achieve further miniaturization. In addition, Hydra-T has built-in software specifically designed to monitor tunnel construction faces, providing powerful performance for monitoring faces during excavation. The measurement section is equipped with a camera in addition to a 76GHz band millimeter wave radar to monitor the face and take photos of the face at the same time. Millimeter wave radar technology, which has overwhelmingly superior measurement accuracy and data processing time compared to laser scanners, has become the standard for safety management.

(Evacuate during blasting) ・Can be operated with 200V for on-site underground lighting.
