About This Product

Sylvatest4 is the fourth generation of Sylvatest, an important reference instrument designed to estimate wood quality ratings from standing timber to structural components. Sylvatest4 measures the flight time of ultrasound waves in wood between two transducers (emitter and receiver). In addition, the peak energy value (mV) of the transmitted wave is also recorded. The measurement takes only a few seconds.

■Features

Sylvatest4 is cableless. You can install the app (SYLVIUS) on your smartphone or handheld PC and send information via Bluetooth.

■Applications

The new version can now measure not only the propagation time but also the amplitude of ultrasonic waves, making it possible to locate holes and inspect glued laminated wood for bond failures. It has become.
