About This Product

■Basic structure

The basic structure consists of two magnets and one disc, and the disc is fixed to a shaft, which is held in place by a bearing.

■Operating principle

When the disk rotates, the countless lines of magnetic force between the two magnets act to hinder the rotation of the disk, and this resistance changes depending on the relative position of the magnetic poles of the magnets. Application example

■Feeding brake

Used as a feed-out brake for various wire rods (copper wire, steel wire, optical fiber, carbon fiber) and films.

■Elasticity control

Permanent torque is used to control the tension of films, wires, etc. at intermediate positions other than winding and feeding.

■Feeding brake

Used as a brake when feeding the wire while loosening the wire with a bobbin fixed type.

■Tighten the cap

Permanent torque is used to tighten caps and screws on pins and bottles.
