About This Product

■Single tube system (STS)

STS is a deep hole drilling method also known as BTA processing. By forcibly sending a large amount of cutting oil to the machining area using high hydraulic pressure and collecting chips, it is possible to machine deep holes 100 to 200 times the hole diameter. Although this is a very excellent processing method, it requires a special processing machine and sealing for the work material, and requires relatively large-scale equipment.

■Double tube system (DTS)

DTS has this name because it uses a double-walled drill tube compared to STS. Unlike STS, there is no need for special sealing of the work material, and it is a processing method that can be easily applied to highly versatile machines such as machining centers and horizontal boring machines.
