About This Product

Coated CBN series covers a wide range of hardened steel processing areas. The most suitable grade can be selected according to the machining area.

■New brazing shape that enables high-efficiency machining

・Deep cutting up to 0.8 mm is possible. ・Improved machining efficiency by reducing the number of passes. ・Innovative wave brazing ・Even during dry machining, the CBN cutting edge is less likely to peel off, and sudden breakage of the insert is suppressed, allowing stable machining of high-hardness steel.

■HS chip breaker

A chip breaker with excellent chip control when machining hardened steel under high cutting conditions.

■HP chip breaker

Chip breaker ideal for precision finishing of hardened steel

■HF/HM chip breaker

Ideal for deep cutting such as carburized layer removal

■Innovative new shape supports a wide range of processing

・GNGA type with 70° corner angle ・FNGA type with 45° corner angle ・By increasing the clearance between the insert and the workpiece, ・Improved chip evacuation ・Resolves the lack of CBN blade length in pulling process ・YNGA type with 25° corner angle - Machining that interferes with existing inserts, such as undercut machining and V-groove machining, is now possible with the standard product.

■High versatility

・Same cutting edge dimensions as ISO inserts, so no need to change offset ・Double-sided 2-corner insert Can be used with traditional ISO insert holders

Uses holder for DN**1504 inserts

■MiniForce-Turn double-sided positive insert

By applying WavyJoint technology to MiniForce-Turn, we have achieved a strongly brazed double-sided CBN insert.

■ CBN insert series with wiper that can be used in a wide range of machining areas

In addition to the version without a breaker, it is available with an HP breaker and an HS breaker with excellent chip control. The FW wiper is less likely to cause chatter in low to medium feed machining and provides excellent surface roughness. The MW wiper provides excellent surface roughness during high-feed machining.
