The MIL STD modified method is a mold resistance test that is considered to be an accelerated test that is suitable for actual sites, and is conducted under much stricter conditions in terms of the number of tests, culture time, culture medium, etc. compared to the JIS standard. Ratings are on a 5-point scale from 0 to 4, with 0 being the highest rating for "no bacterial growth."
