About This Product

As an emergency backup when the filter becomes clogged. It is also essential for farmers who have poor water quality and frequent filter cleaning. (A spare is always required in either case) Disc filter element, 140 mesh ideal for drip tubes.

■Features

・The filter element has a mesh, which is a unit that indicates how small a piece of dirt can be filtered out. ・Filtration capacity varies depending on the number of meshes. The standard for IV tubing is 140 mesh. ・Fine mesh filter → water pressure decreases with watering tube → insufficient watering (one big reason why drip irrigation is better than watering tube)

■How to use

- When placing the element inside the body, the element has a certain direction, so align the white screw part with the drain cock side of the body.

■Notes

- If dirt accumulates inside the filter, the water pressure will drop (the water pressure gauge needle will not rise to the appropriate water pressure). Please clean it regularly. →1. "Discharging garbage" using the drainage cock attached to the bottom of the main unit, 2. Cleaning the elements. - When cleaning the disc filter, loosen the donut-shaped part by hand and remove the lower body. ・Take out the element and loosen the white screw part so that you can clean between the discs. After cleaning, tighten the white screw part. Note) If it is too loose, it will not fit into the body, and if it is too tight, it will cause damage. ・If you clean frequently, we recommend preparing multiple elements for cleaning and replacement. - The O-ring attached to the element may deteriorate, making it difficult to fit into the body.
