Tribo-X inside Ansys (TiA) is an add-on product for Ansys Workbench developed by Ansys channel partner CADFEM of Germany. Highly accurate and highly efficient characteristic evaluation of sliding bearings can be performed in a short time in the Ansys Workbench environment.

・Fast and efficient solver using extended Reynolds equation ・Easy operability (clearance determination) using 3D CAD shapes of solid parts of shafts and bearings ・Smooth elastohydrodynamic (EHD) analysis by coupling fluid dynamics analysis and FEM analysis ・Easily perform parametric studies with a fully parametric workflow ・Add-on module for linearized bearing mechanical property identification for rotor dynamics analysis ・Mixed friction add-on module that enables complete representation of Stribeck curves ・Thermal add-on module that takes into account the effects of temperature, taking into account the shear heat generation of the lubricant.
