About This Product

This is a device that transfers and images a cylindrical surface onto a two-dimensional image sensor (area camera). The ROLIS imaging mechanism is similar to rolling a cylinder across paper and transferring the pattern on the surface. The biggest feature of ROLIS is that it can transfer and image the deep inner and outer surfaces of cylinders at high speed. In addition, by using our unique image processing system, we can automatically detect processing defects such as cavities, scratches, dents, and residual foreign matter that occur on the cylindrical surface based on the developed image data obtained from transfer imaging. can be detected. Furthermore, since we are not a vision sensor manufacturer, but an automatic machine manufacturer that designs and manufactures everything in-house, we are able to provide a total package including transport equipment. ROLIS cameras have many advantages over scanning imaging with typical line sensor cameras.

■Automatic capture of highlights

The highlighted part will move even if the center is slightly misaligned. ROLIS cameras capture images using a wide slit, so even if the highlight moves within a certain range, it will automatically capture it. In the case of a line sensor camera, the light receiving area is a thin line, which causes severe unevenness in the amount of light.

■Easy adjustment

The slit on the front of the CCD can be opened and closed. By opening the slit, you can focus using real-time 2D images, adjust the angle of view, and adjust the light source. In addition, the same camera can also perform 2D imaging inspections using normal imaging.

■Software

The software uses our original language [List Program] which is equipped with a translation processing function. In addition to image processing, it is also possible to control servo motors, cylinders, and various sensors. In addition, control of the transport system and handshaking between the front and rear devices can be performed with simple operations.
