About This Product

Ozeki, which was founded in 1902 as a wholesaler of Japanese and Chinese dyes, has the expertise in color that has been cultivated over a long history. Since the end of the war, our company has been distributing plastering materials to building material stores across the country, so we have long had a network in the construction industry. This led to the start of business with Bayer AG (currently LANXESS), a major German chemical manufacturer, in 1966. Since then, the company's pigments have been widely used as coloring materials for housing environment products in the fields of architecture and civil engineering for more than half a century.

■What is Bayferox inorganic pigment?

It is an inorganic pigment that can be mixed directly into concrete to create colored concrete. Unlike methods that apply to the surface, the surface does not become glossy or fade due to strong wind, rain, or seawater. You can create colored concrete while retaining a very natural feel, that is, the texture of concrete. Why should I use Bayferox inorganic pigments?

■Biferox inorganic pigment is a pigment that is very suitable for concrete coloring and has the following properties.

・Good dispersibility: The pigment mixes well with fine cement powder and is easily dispersed in concrete and mortar. ・Alkali resistance: It does not react in any way to the strong alkalinity of cement, so it will not change color or fade. ・Light resistance and weather resistance: It is stable (light resistance) against sunlight and ultraviolet rays, and stable (weather resistance) against all conditions in the natural environment such as rain, wind, and temperature. No discoloration or fading. ・Excellent safety: It is non-toxic and does not meet the classification criteria for hazards, and the environmental impact information has confirmed that it has no effect on fish etc. from test results. Please refer to the SDS (Safety Data Sheet) for details. ・Does not significantly reduce the physical properties of concrete: It does not react with cement and has no practical effect on the strength of concrete. There is less deterioration in workability and it is easier to use. ・High quality and high concentration: Manufactured using a unique manufacturing method and quality control, so high quality can be stably obtained. Also, since the pigment has high coloring power, the amount added can be reduced.

■Does Byferox affect the properties of concrete?

Byferox inorganic pigments do not affect strength within practical amounts.
