About This Product

■Product overview

OpenFOAM is a complete open source program group released by OpenCFD, a subsidiary of the ESI Group, through the OpenFOAM Foundation. Although it is known as a computational fluid dynamics (CFD) program, it targets not only fluids but also all movements of data distributed in space. C++ allows many physical models to be compiled into libraries, making it an excellent basis for developing original solvers based on new models and theories. Many users and communities have been involved in its development, and the scope of application has now expanded beyond fluids to include social phenomena.
