Using advanced electrophysiological techniques, we provide reliable data from the early stages of your drug discovery program. This saves valuable time before bringing ion channel agonists to market. Sophion's HTS system, the Qube 384, makes ion channel research easy. By combining GigaSeal-based current recording with unattended operation, drug discovery research can be conducted more efficiently. Qube fixes the membrane potential of individual cells at half the channel activation potential to more accurately elucidate the mechanism of action of candidate compounds. Experimental temperature can also be controlled at the cellular level and can be raised or lowered. Temperature data can also be used for subsequent analysis
