About This Product

To meet the various demands of HVAC/R units, CAREL offers various modules that control the speed of fans, pumps, and compressors. In fact, the optional modules are designed and optimized for increasingly important functions in today's air conditioning and refrigeration units. When it comes to controlling condensing pressure, the FCS range of controllers is effective and can be used both as a stand-alone system and in conjunction with the pCO sistema series controllers. This series of controllers is available in single-phase and three-phase versions. As for parametric controllers, like the μ-chiller series, CAREL offers controllers with single-phase power supplies in the MCHRTF range, suitable for this type of controller. This speed controller is compatible with the programmable pCO sistema controller. It can manage single-phase 230 Vac fans (8, 10 and 12 A current) and three-phase 400 Vac (6, 9, 12, 20, 40 A current).

■Three-phase (IP55) with RS485 features

The FCR3 series is a slave microprocessor controller that manages three-phase asynchronous motors. Mainly used to control the condenser fan motor of the refrigeration unit. Control signals are analog 0-10 V, PWM, 0-20 mA or Modbus RTU via RS485 serial. Equipped with digital input/output terminals for alarm management. The serial port is used to remotely monitor all parameters in the control system. Up to 255 addresses can be configured on the Modbus network. Parameters can be set via serial connection or with program keys.

・Selection of minimum/cutoff speed; ・Set delay at startup; - Select minimum and maximum speed; - Set linear or quadratic functions; ・Manage output speed (overwrite) directly; ・Select output speed when alarm is enabled (0%, 50%, 100%); ・Reading internal operating temperature
