About This Product

Carel electronic expansion valves are designed for capacities up to 2,000kW in air conditioning and refrigeration, and provide excellent flow control even at low flow rates.

■E3V for transcritical CO2 features

The CAREL E3V electronic expansion valve is compatible with refrigeration capacities up to 180kw, and is CAREL's representative product as a medium-sized capacity valve. The E3V has been carefully designed down to the last detail to ensure wide range control and safe refrigerant flow in both directions. The latter feature is particularly useful for heat pump equipment. This product is designed for trial use as an expansion valve in refrigerant circuits, with overheating measured by pressure and temperature sensors and used as control signals. The innovative CO2 series, completed with the E3V valve, offers a very interesting solution for medium and low temperature situations and above all has the advantage of a low environmental impact and visible energy savings. Available in five sizes (30, 35, 45, 55, 65), they use a 36 ohm two-pole motor and are designed for industrial refrigerant applications.
