About This Product

Carel electronic expansion valves are designed for capacities up to 2,000kW in air conditioning and refrigeration, and provide excellent flow control even at low flow rates.

■E3V fully welded features

The CAREL E3V electronic expansion valve is compatible with refrigeration capacities up to 180kw, and is CAREL's representative product as a medium-sized capacity valve. The E3V has been carefully designed down to the last detail to ensure wide range control and safe refrigerant flow in both directions. The latter feature is particularly useful for heat pump equipment. This product is designed for trial use as an expansion valve in refrigerant circuits, with overheating measured by pressure and temperature sensors and used as control signals. From July 2014, E3V-A and E3V-U valves will be replaced by E3V-B valves on the CAREL E3V production line. The new product comes in five different sizes, three (45,55,65) to fit bipolar motors and two (35,45) to fit unipolar motors. The biggest feature is that the connection parts are completely welded. This increases its strength and makes it more versatile for the equipment it can be used with.
