About This Product

Carel electronic expansion valves are designed for capacities up to 2,000kW in air conditioning and refrigeration, and provide excellent flow control even at low flow rates.

■Carel electronic expansion valve has the following three main advantages.

・Long-term reliability: The standard design process for CAREL ExV valves includes 1*106 cycles of accelerated life testing. Our valves comply with national and international standards, guaranteeing the highest quality of both products and manufacturing processes, and continuing to improve our environmental management system. ・Precise control: CAREL's electronic control equipment is optimized for air conditioning and refrigeration systems and is designed with particular energy savings in mind, ensuring extremely precise control. In addition, the use of stainless steel ball bearings and precision components ensures precise control over the geometry of moving parts, equal percentage movement to flow rate, and length of stroke. ・Complete sealing of refrigerant: Moving parts do not rotate regardless of the rotation of the motor. This allows for the use of high-quality Teflon seals and ensures that the valve seat does not slip. To ensure a tight seal, the movable parts are secured to the seat using metal springs when the system is stopped. This causes the motor to rotate further before coming to a complete stop, storing energy in the spring and making the valve seal comparable to traditional solenoid valves. Finally, by testing 100% of the valves we manufacture, we ensure long-term reliability and sealing, helping to reduce our impact on the environment.

■E4V features

CAREL E4V electronic expansion valve is designed for medium to high capacity chillers and air conditioning systems with refrigeration capacities up to 280kW. Reliability, wide control range, and bidirectional refrigerant flow are three key features that make this product a highly customer-satisfying product that combines operational and installation versatility with high quality. An innovative feature is the built-in sight glass that allows observation of moving parts and refrigerant flow within the circuit. In addition, the valve is an assembly type and can be assembled while being installed, making maintenance and inspection of each part easy. The E4V-B valve differs from the previous version, E4V-A, in the material of its moving parts, using composite material instead of metal. There are two sizes: 85 and 95.
