About This Product

CAREL offers a new product for the detection of CFC, HFC and CO2 refrigerant gases, meeting the demand for continuous control and monitoring in the industrial refrigeration and air conditioning sector (supermarkets, shopping centers and other public spaces) to monitor system status. and reduce problems caused by gas leaks.

■Features of gas leak detector

The refrigerant gas leak sensor detects leaks of common gas refrigerants (R22, R134a, R404a, R407c, R410a, CO2). It can be used as a stand-alone system or in combination with CAREL controllers and other third-party equipment. Connection to the CAREL controller is via analog and digital inputs or Modbus® RS485 serial communication. When a gas leak with an abnormal concentration is detected, the sensor sends an alarm to the controller, which activates an audible alarm, warning light, and relay (SPDT). This allows gas leaks to be detected quickly, ensuring personnel safety and preventing the entire system from shutting down. Available in semiconductor or infrared versions.
