About This Product

These are carrier sets and return sets that consist of 2, 3 or 5 rollers connected by joint links of chains, and are also called ``hanging type'' or ``hanger type'' in Japan. This garland is designed to handle high speeds, increase conveyance capacity, and have high impact resistance, in response to the recent increase in conveyance needs such as making belt conveyors faster, with higher capacity, and capable of conveying larger items. It was created as a new and flexible transportation method, which has the advantage of being able to absorb energy. This garland is mainly used in ready-mixed concrete in Japan, but it is gradually becoming recognized and used in other countries as well.

■Features and benefits

In the garland method, the rollers flexibly respond to the movement of the load on the belt, so 1) Belt meandering is suppressed and 2) The load and stress on conveyed objects on belts and rollers is reduced by 2 to 4 times, which extends the lifespan of belts and rollers. 3) It can also handle three-dimensional curves, 4) The rollers can be easily replaced, making maintenance work easier. 5) This is a unique and new method that has many advantages as shown in the diagram on the right, such as the ability to easily increase transport capacity compared to the stand type.

■Garland composition

As shown in the diagram on the right, the Garland carrier set consists of 2, 3, and 5 rollers connected by chain joint links, and both ends are attached directly to the conveyor frame using mounting hooks or to a dedicated garland stand. The return set mainly consists of two pieces to help center the belt. Only two examples of take-up hooks are shown, but there are many other variations, including a type that allows you to remove and attach the roller set with one touch. Due to the structure of the garland, a stand to hold the rollers is no longer necessary, and it can be attached directly to the conveyor frame, so for new installations, not only the stand but also the amount of steel for the conveyor frame can be reduced, reducing costs. It has the advantage of being able to lower the cost and shortening the construction period.
